Education: B.A. in English Language and Literature and Secondary Education from Eastern Michigan University
Teaching Experience: Began teaching at New Era in September of 2015. She also taught for four years at Reeths-Puffer High School in North Muskegon until the birth of her first (of four) sons.
Deep Hope For Her Students: That they know and are known by Jesus and to answer the call to play a role in HIStory.
What do you like best about teaching at NECS? I love teaching at NECS because we were created by God for community. I enjoy living life together, both with staff and students. I learn so much from the students I teach and am fortunate to build relationships with them over a two year span in the classroom. Walking with God is the grandest adventure, so I love seeing where He will guide our time together in the classroom and how He will uncover the gifts and talents in each student.
